ICYMI Beyoncé released the full video of Drunk In Love.



I loooooooooooooooooooooooooove this song! And now I love the video; Beyoncé is definitely in her element here. We are definitely seeing a new Beyoncé era.

She looks like she's having mad fun on that beach right there, and I must add that she looks amazing.

Seeing the words explicit next to Beyoncé's name is still something I'm gonna need to get used too.

I surprisingly liked 21 Jump Street, I found it to be tré tré funny; there were so much laugh out loud moments. So yeah of course I was excited to find out that there was gonna be a sequel.

Trailer Time: Godzilla (2014) Official First Teaser

Today the first teaser for Godzilla (2014) was released!



Ooooh *excited squeals* this is on my Movie Watch list of 2014, I'm really excited.

I have my fingers crossed behind my back that this is a good-un!

And in homage to the Godzilla remake of my time, I think this calls for a flashback tune or two.

R.I.P Paul Walker

Note: This is not to inform about his death just to express my condolences.

Paul Walker was one of my first loves/crushes, fair enough I didn't know him and albeit it I was only 12, but I loved him. From the first time my eyes fell on his golden blonde hair and piercing blue eyes I was gone.

I had this massive poster of him on my wall right next to my pillow. Just so he'd be the first thing I saw in the morning and last thing I saw at night.

Fast and Furious 2 was the first DVD I owned and I would watch it over and over. I used to tell all my friends that I would marry him one day in my deluded young mind; I was smitten!

So it is with a heavy heart to find out he has died. I'm in bits and yeah yeah I didn't know him and he didn't know me, but that 12 year old deep inside is heartbroken and I'm really sad. Such a sad way to go.

My prayers go out to his family and nearest and dearest.

Rest in Peace Paul.

Saw this floating around the Interweb and it had me cracking up.

Two Beliebers went on a comment war on the One Direction What Makes You Beautiful video on Youtube. So Dead Parrot went and made a reconstruction and the following is the masterpiece that came alive.



I'm so glad when I was going through the ages of 9-16 that YouTube didn't exist or this may have been me!

Pharrell 24 Hours of Happy

Pharrell has debuted the world's first ever 24 hour music video.

The interactive piece is for the song 'Happy' which featured on the Despicable Me 2 Soundtrack.

The video which was shot in real time, features a lot of random people dancing and includes cameos from Steve Carell, Magic Johnson and Jimmy Kimmel.

Disney's "The Story Of Menstruation"

Yes you heard correctly, in the archives of Disney sits a short film from 1946 about periods. The 10 minute animated film was shown at the time in health classes across America to discuss and dispel myths about menstruation.

Though very dated with lines such as "It's smart to keep looking smart" and "always keep a fine outward appearance";  I actually found it to be quite informative.

John Lewis Christmas Advert 2013

It's that time of the year again, it's the highly anticipated John Lewis Christmas advert.

Introducing The Bear & The Hare.

I love the whole story of a bahumbug Bear, who doesn't seem to enjoy the festive season, finally gets to experience the joy of Christmas and a Hare who wants so badly to share the Christmas spirit with their friend.

And Lily Allen's cover of Keane's Somewhere Only We Know is just so beautiful (I do love Lily Allen's voice I'm glad she's out or retirement).

The whole advert is so warm and cosy and definitely reminiscent of the infamous Watership Down. It's definitely a winner.

Bruno Mars feat. R. Kelly & Pharrell - Gorilla G-Mix

Yes you did hear right, Mr Bruno Mars aka Mr Sexiness personified, yes back off ladies I said it and like my girls Brandy and Monica say, the Boy is mine so back off; has teamed up with Mr Remix himself R Kelly and Pharrell to give us Gorilla the G-Mix.

Oh my gosh, my beau ting has done did it again, this is song will now on repeatage all night.

It's everything and a bag of chips, with added ketchup, mayo and chilli sauce (possibly some burger sauce if I'm in the mood for it), and the addition of Kelly's verse just gives Gorilla more fire, I loves it.

I've got my fingers crossed really tightly that a video will appear, I know the original has one and you all know how crazy I went for that, but a video for this would be so much more, just so much more. So I will squeeze those fingers and wish upon a star until something surfaces.

This must have taken so long to create and the accuracy is just so amazing.

Anti-Rape wear

Yes you heard right, I kid you not this is a real thing.

I saw it on Cosmo and just had to share it with you guys.



I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand it's a preventative measure, sort of like a rape alarm or whistle; trying to fight against the chance of rape. But then on the other hand it's kind of giving leverage to the whole argument that it's a woman's fault that she got raped because of what she wore. That maybe if she had had a pair of these anti-rape knickers she might not have gotten raped. And who's to say that out of frustration the attacker wouldn't go one step as to actually 'kill' the wearer?

I feel like this is the kind of thing that brings unnecessary fear to  people, kind of scaremongering in a way.

And who the hell would wear it? It just seems so complicated and even the whole combination thing is confusing. I mean what if your bursting to go to the toilet and forget the combo; you're pissed cos those things aint ever coming off. It says so itself, there aint no way to cut them off. So your stuck!

I dunno I'm on the fence with this one, what do you think?

KFC's Scorcher Meal

So last night on a fat day tip I decided to try out KFC's latest box meal offering, the Scorcher and indulge in some calories, say something!

But why oh why did I go to the Peckham branch to get it though? I do it to myself all the time and I always end up disappointed. After paying for my meal, why did the guy at the till then proceed to tell me that he had given me three hot wings because they had run out of hot shots *say what now* bloody thieves. But not only that they didn't even give me the 2Hot4U sauce, cheek!

To cut a long story short minus the Hot Shots and 2Hot4U sauce what did I think?

I bloody loved it the burger that is, the Peri Peri relish alongside the spicy Supercharger sauce definitely complimented the Zinger burger perfectly. It was just the kick I needed and was definitely spicy. You know sometimes when you hear that something is spicy and there's just a small hint and you're really disappointed, well this wasn't one of those times; the Scorcher burger had me reaching for my Tango many a time. Shame about the dry ass wings though, but I guess because they were from Peckham I wasn't expecting much anyway.

Sorry diet but this is definitely going to be eaten again.

Scorcher Box Meal 3.5/5  (maybe if I had been given my Hotshots and 2Hot4U sauce it might have been higher but I'll give the Scorcher burger 4/5)

Have you listened to the lyrics, just like RiRi and her Pour it Up vid, the song is quite explicit so hence an explicit video (well to be honest Gorilla isn't as explicit, but I'm tryna prove a point). It's not using unnecessary provocative images to sell a song alá Miley Cyrus. With lyrics "you got your legs up in the sky, with the devil in your eye" and "you're screaming give it to me baby give it to me motherf**ker", are you expecting a Gorilla sitting in a jungle having a tea party?

So I say gwaan Freida with your bad self, werk that pole girl lol.

But wait we aint talked about the best part of the video, did you see the look my beau ting has on his face when Freida aka Isabella walks out dayyyyyyuuuuuum!!! I do love me some Peter Hernandez. That look is gonna haunt my dreams for nights, in a good way of course.

My Little Pony My Little Pony

Oh my gosh, I actually feel like I'm a 8 years old again.

I've just seen these on River Island's Instagram and I've fallen hard.

These cuties need to get in my life like yesterday. It's weird because just the other day I was telling my kid sister how the 80s & 90s version of My Little Pony was so much better than the one they have out now and now I'm writing a post about some My Little Pony slippers.

Omg this takes me back, I'm proper geeking out now. I was obsessed with My Little Pony, like totally obsessed! I had so many ponies, my fave was Clover and I also used to have this My Little Pony Kitchen set.

Omg the memories are flooding back, I remember the crazy stories I used to make up with this set and aww playing with the cooker making the pies and the muffins, this is too much for me nostalgia overload, nostalgia overload.

But back to the slippers; priced at £22 each and available now at River Island.
