WHOLOCK - Sherlock meets The Doctor!

This is amazing! The big Doctor Who, Sherlock fan girl inside me is geeking out hard right now.

I'm not gonna lie, I must confess it; I did think it was real when I saw the BBC watermark in the corner. I know the shame.

Check out the VFX breakdown below to see how the creator John Smith pulled it off.

Skins Trailer

This doesn't excite me.

Maybe it's because I grew out of Skins, or because the eps don't feature any of my fave characters.

Didn't really care for Cassie and Effie annoyed me. I did like Cook though, but finding out he is a drug dealer in this new series really makes me *yaaaaaawn*. Wow so original!

Heroes Revived?

There's a time in every fangirl/boy's life when their heart skips a beat. And that is when they are informed that their favourite TV show could be heading for a revival.

Ooooooh Scandalous

Everyone that knows me knows that my favourite TV show at the moment is Scandal.

And no I'm not a follow fash; I've known about this show since Shonda Rhimes creator of Scandal, Gray's Anatomy and Private Practice announced it, so there *sticks out tongue*

For those that don't know about Scandal get to know because this show, this show right here is 'the show'! Yeah I said it, it's the show!

Bye Bye Brady

Just woke up to some of the worst news ever.

As a massive Hollyoaks fan, I was saddened to hear that the actor that plays Brendan Brady (Emmett J. Scanlan) had announced he was leaving after 2 1/2 years on the show.

Lime Pictures
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo *sobs like a little girl*  Why Emmett why? You were like my favourite character ever, I loved you so much, you and your tashe, the show just won't be the same without you! Please don't go! Stay! Please! If you change your mind, I'll do anything, I'll watch the show everyday at 6:30 and then change over to E4 at 7pm to watch the first look and I'll watch the Omnibus every weekend and even on 4OD. Just please say that you'll stay! *goes off to cry some more*

Okay, now that I've got that out of my system, I believe that losing Brendan is a huge loss for Hollyoaks. Though he was a bad boy, he was a favourite and in my eyes could do no wrong. With storylines that included his abusive relationship with Ste, his battles with Warren and his struggles to keep the respect and love of his sister Cheryl; Brendan became a popular character with viewers and will be surely missed. However, just like a good TV show announcing it's final season; in a way I guess it's a good thing he leaves now, so he leaves on a high and doesn't get put in long, boring drawn out storylines. So here's hoping his exit storyline will be an amazing one.

I remember when I got the chance to visit the set one time, I managed to get a glimpse of the man himself and I can tell you that was the highlight of my day, ask all my mates, they'll tell you I wouldn't shut up about it.

So here's a toast *raises an invisible glass*. To Emmett, thank you for gracing my screen as my favourite bad boy Brendan Brady, I wish you all the success in your future endeavours. Chin chin.

*Heads off to the Brendan Brady Appreciation thread on Digital Spy to wallow with my fellow Bradyites and cry some more*

Someone's Turning 30...

No, not me (I've got a few more years yet), no I'm talking about CITV.

Children's ITV turned 30 on the 3rd Jan and to celebrate CITV are in the midst of a Nostalgia Weekender.

Today we were treated to:

9:25 Mike and Angelo 9:50 Super Gran 10:15 Wizadora 10:30 T-Bag 10:50 Engie Benjy 11:05 The Raggy Dolls 11:15 Puddle Lane 11:35 Count Duckula 12:00 The Sooty Show 12:25 Art Attack 12:40 The Big Bang 1:00 Finders Keepers 1:30 Fun House 2:00 Knightmare 2:30 Fraggle Rock 3:00 The Worst Witch 3:30 Woof! 4:00 Dramarama: Blackbird Singing In The Dead of Night 4:30 Press Gang 5:00 The Tomorrow People 5:30 Children's Ward.

I was most excited about Finders Keepers, Raggy Dolls and Children's Ward, but most of all Fun House. When the theme tune for Fun House came on I nearly wet myself, I looooooooooved that show.
I've always said that my dream birthday would be to run about the sets of Finder's Keepers and Fun House. I always wanted to go on those shows when I was younger and having the chance to be able to live out one of my childhood dreams would be... well a dream come true. I guess we can all dream.
Tomorrow we are getting treated to:
9:25 Mike and Angelo 9:50 Spatz 10:10 Huxley Pig 10:30 Rainbow 10:50 Button Moon 11:05 The Riddlers 11:15 Rosie and Jim 11:35 Dangermouse 12:00 Sooty & Co 12:25pm How 2 12:40 Fingertips 1:00 Jungle Run 1:30 Fun House 2:00 Knightmare 2:30 Fraggle Rock 3:00 My Parents are Aliens 3:30 Woof  4:00 Dramarama: Back to Front 4:30 Press Gang 5:00 The Tomorrow People 5:30 Children's Ward
I'm most excited about Rosie and Jim, Dangermouse, How 2, the second episodes of Children's Ward and of course Fun House and My Parents are Aliens.
Happy 30th CITV, thank you for blessing my childhood with many tellybox memories and treats xxx

Skins Returns!

Okay, so maybe just for three episodes.

The episodes entitled Skins Pure, Skins Rise and Skins Fire, will focus on former Skins characters Cassie, Cook and Effie.

Though I have now come to an age where I no longer have much interest in this show, it's nice to have a little catch-up with past characters, so I may give this a watch when it hits our screens in 2013

In Tellybox News...

Just heard over on my fave US telly news blog TV Envy that the viewership level for the premier of Entourage's newest season was down by 25%. Now I'm not one to care about viewership levels, as I am not yet in the telly industry (but soon will be *fingers crossed behind back and hoping for a miracle to happen real soon so I can believe that the 3 years I spent at university actually meant something*), but in the past few months I have seen many of my fave shows hitting the chopping block; so I'm praying and hoping that these levels will pick up, because Entourage is up there on my top 10 all time fave shows and I don't know what I will do if it gets cancelled! *screaming* I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT I WILL DO!!!!
