I know I'm Late...

But I saw this on an episode of The Cleveland Show and it had me cracking up!!!

When I found our that it was real I was on the floor...

"Hey! Hey! Living Rooms, Bedrooms Dinets. Flea Market, Montgomery, it's just like it's just like a mini-mall..Oh Yea!!!"

One More! One More! Sammy Strikes Again!!!

Omg! He is too much!!! Plains Trains Automobiles...my live bid... my M..Y...oh yeah!

Flashback! Flashback!

Who remembers Cow and Chicken???

This was my show. I loved it. It wasn't until recently that I actually listened to the opening title properly and clocked the actual meaning. "Mama had a chicken, Mama had a cow, Dad was proud he didn't care how..."

Wow the things you don't pick up when you're a kid.

Lol I'm just remembering how much they used to get tormented by the 'Red Guy'.

If you were a die hard fan like me, you will remember this following straight after:

I must admit I always side with underdog. So my fave was Baboon, I always wanted things to go right for him and things to go wrong from Weasel.

Russell Howard's Good News

Howdy y'all! I'm back from my long break. How are you???
So yesterday I had the privilege of being able to attend the first recording of Russell Howard's Good News Series Two; it was my first ever TV recording attendance so I was pretty excited. Okay, so you lot already know I'm a geek/nerd whatever you want to call me, but when it comes to things like this I get pretty excited.

I don't wanna give anything away and spoil your Thursday night entertainment, but all I can say is that you lot are in for a real treat this Thursday. This dude is a real joker, he is really funny. He had me proper cracking up. Seriously my cheeks we so raw from laughing so much.

Sims 3: Ambitions Confirmed

Yay! I love it when a rumour is true. Well, not all rumours lol.
Yup it's official babies, The Sims are letting us into their world of work...finally!!!!
The player now has complete control over what happens within their Sim's job and can choose how they spend their day.
Scott Evans, General Manager of The Sims Studio at EA says
"The variety of careers to choose from is unmatched and we've never given players the opportunity to follow their Sims to work and affect their actions on the job... The Sims 3 Ambitions changes that. Players' actions at work now directly affect their lives, community and neighbors and become an extremely important part of how the game is played."
Confirmed new jobs are:
  • Ghost Hunter
  • Inventor
  • Sculptor
  • Investigator
  • Architect
  • Stylist
  • etc
Players will be able to take total charge of their Sims career; they will be able to decide whether they climb quickly to the top of their career ladder or become a full blown slacker; and even decide if they work for good or evil.

Check out the press release for more info.

Sounds great. But no mention of the rabbit hole situation. What do you think???

I'm Loving...

Gorrilaz- Stylo

I love this video, it's just so different. It's mad cos the first time I saw it I found it a lil bit scary, the whole clown's face mask eeewww was a bit too much for me; maybe it was cos I watched it at 2'o clock in the morning; but now I am totally loving it. I love the Bruce Willis' cameo...doing what he does best...loves it!

The song itself is too much, it's a sure 'replay' tune on my iPodizzle.

Welcome back Gorrilaz, you have been missed!

News Just In...

So I just found out that Solange Knowles will be one of the new faces of Rimmel London. Well done to her!!! *clap clap*
She will be joining Zooey Deschanel, Ajandra Romos Munoz, Coco Rocha and Georgia May Jagger as a spokesmodel for the brand.

International Women's Day

Today is International Women's Day. So to all you women out there, treat yourselves like the queens you are and to all to all the men treat the women that surround you like the queens they are.

Random: Do you know what is so freakily weird, I picked up a pen this morning that had International Women's Day written on the side, only to find that it was in fact International Women's Day... what a frikkin coincidence or what??? Or is it ironic???

Well done to Kathryn Bigelow for her Oscar win- the first woman to win Best Director!

Heavy Rain

I'm telling you my fellow game heads this is one game that I must own and play in the year 2010. Now that the GTA hype has died down, I need to get my gaming fix from somewhere.

I think that Quantic Dream (creators of one of my favourite games Farenheit) are onto a winner with this game. The graphics are too much, they look amazing and I am totally in love with the unique controller system.

And In PS3 News...

People across the globe are waking up to find that their PlayStation 3 consoles are plagued with error message "8001050F – Hardware failure. Cannot update Firmware or connect to Internet".
As the console calenders changed from the end of February to the first of March, the calender on the original consoles was reset back to either 1st January 2000 or 31st December 1999,  in turn blocking users from both accessing online content and playing games. Users are reporting that they are unable to access PSN; load games with Trophies or play PS3 'Originals' or 'Premium Themes'; also all Trophy achievements have been erased.

It has been suggested that the error code 8001050F, may be a firmware error relating to a leap year miscalculation, as this error is also affecting offline consoles.

Those with the slim-line consoles should not worry; as of yet there have been no reports of this error affecting them.

In a recent statement Sony said
"We are currently looking in to the issue to identify the cause of this network connection failure and will update further information as necessary on the PlayStation blog and official website. We appreciate your understanding and continued support."
Though Sony have advised users that they will still be able to play games in offline mode; for gaming and other tasks that do not require internet access; some gaming websites have warned users not to turn their consoles on until the error has been fixed.

Phew *sigh of relief* and to think I wanted to get myself an original PS3...
