I haven't done a post about The Sims in a long long time...

Apparently rumours are in the air about a new expansion pack either titled 'Hobbies and Professions' or 'Ambitions'. Which I guess focuses on Sims jobs and their hobbies, a upgrade of Sims 2 Freetime and supposedly all the rabbit-holes within the game will become open... which I believe to be a whole lot of B S, but hey come June 4th 2010 we shall see.

I really hope that this is not true cos I really want the next expansion pack to involve weather.

Personally I believe that this is one of the best tracks off 808s and Heartbreaks, so I'm very happy to see some visuals. I think the video is very deep, it's very Gothic; sorta 'Lord of The Rings Middle Earth stylish'.

Gossip Girl To Come To Miss Selfridge

According to reports fashion chain Miss Selfridge has signed a deal with Warner Bros to sell a clothing line based on hit TV show Gossip Girl.

The line will consist of eight dresses based on the styles of characters Blair Waldorf, Serena van der Woodsen, Jenny Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams and inspired by designs of the shows costume designer Eric Daman.

The collection which will include a black body con bandeau dress and Leopard print boho maxi dress; will launch in Miss Selfridge (both on-line and in stores) from April 2010. With prices starting from £39.

Yasmin Yusuf, creative director at Miss Selfridge says "We're incredibly excited to be working with Warner Bros Consumer Products on the launch of the UK's first official Gossip Girl fashion collection... We know our customers love Gossip Girl as much as they love fashion; this collaboration is perfect for Miss Selfridge."

"Fashion is intrinsic to Gossip Girl and a key ingredient in the continued popularity of the series," adds Paul Bufton, general manager of WBCP UK, "Miss Selfridge has created a collection that is true to the ideals of the show and one that young women will aspire to own".

Gossip Girl returns to UK airways on ITV2 on March 10th.

Yay!!! Happy Pancake Day!!! Let the Pancake party commence!!!

Me and my mates have this lil tradition where we make a huge batch of pancakes and just go crazy, but unfortunately due to certain circumstances we won't be able to do it this year *wiping a tear*.

So what is the true meaning of pancake day. Because it sure isn't just about gorging ourselves on them.

Pancake Day falls on Shrove Tuesday, this is the day that precedes Ash Wednesday; the first day of Lent (the Christian season of prayer and fasting). On this day before Lent people make pancakes which many consider to be the 'last feast'. Pancakes include the ingredients: Sugar, Fat and Eggs. These food types are traditionally 'restricted' during the period of Lent.

I always get upset cos Pancake day always falls on days surrounding my birthday, but never on the actual day. So I did my internet thing and I found out that in the years 2042 and 2048 Pancake day will fall on my birthday!!! Yay!!! Celebrate good times c'mon!!!!

I'm not really one for all that lovey-dovey bull moloney; but as it is the official day of love... just wanted to say 'I Love You' to all my valued followers...there I did it...now back to business.

So what is this Valentine's Day???

Saint Valentine's Day is named after the martyred Christian saint 'Valentine' and was established by Pope Gelasius I in AD 496. It was first acknowledged as a romantic holiday in the High Middle Ages in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer; where 'courtly love' was in its peak. So to all you Valentine's Day haters (me included) it is not a hallmark created holiday!!! Valentine's Day is a long-time traditionally celebrated day of love.

We need to get past the chocolate, cards and gifts and see it as a day where love is openly celebrated. So if you are one of those people that think of it only as a day filled with chocolates, cards and gifts; then my answer is... don't buy them. Instead use the day to spend time with your loved ones and tell them that you love them. Simplessss!!!

New Video: Rihanna's Rude Boy

The video was directed by Melina Matsoukas who directed Rihanna's 'Hard' video. Rihanna described the video as "completely different from any other video I’ve shot before. A lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough. 'Rude Boy' is more playing along the lines from my roots."

OMG I can't believe that Andy has grown up!! I am loving the fact that the story has aged as well and it isn't just a movie that picks up where it left off. The fact that Andy is off to college now and the toys are off on a new adventure makes me even more excited for its return.

The graphics look amazing; the way that animation has developed over the years never ceases to amaze me.

Alexander McQueen, famous British designer dies aged 40.McQueen was found dead at his London home and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. A statement released by his office on 11 February 2010 - referring to the designer by his given first name, Lee - read: "On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand, has been found dead at his home." McQueen's death came days before London Fashion Week, although McQueen was not scheduled to show in the British capital.

Wolfman Screening

So me and a bunch of mates got 'free' tickets to watch 'Wolfman' 1 day before it's UK release date. Which was a bit freaky cos it was only 3 days previous were we were talking about how we really wanted to see it. So when I got the email we jumped at the chance.

As I am typing this Wolfman has officially been released so I'm sure many of you have had the opportunity to watch it.

To cut a long story short, I wasn't really that impressed. Don't get me wrong there was an alright storyline. But the wolf itself was quite pitiful, I really expected so much more from it.

Really disappointed.

Shake Weight: The New Arm Toning Solution?

Who out there has heard of the 'Shake Weight'. The first time I heard of it was when I was watching an episode of Russell Howard's Good News and I found it hilarious. But the other day when I was doing me grocery shopping, I actually saw it in the flesh. Apparently it's supposed to shape and tone your arms, shoulder and chest in just 6 minutes a day. Okay, I dunno if I believe this one (but why is there a part of me that wants it lol), there are so many machines out there that tell us that they work wonders; we run to the shops and buy them and then 6 months later they're collecting dust (i.e. my wii fit). I guess seeing is believing. If I was you I'd give it a few months and check out some reviews before I went out and bought it.
