Disney's "The Story Of Menstruation"
Yes you heard correctly, in the archives of Disney sits a short film from 1946 about periods. The 10 minute animated film was shown at the time in health classes across America to discuss and dispel myths about menstruation.
Check it below.
Though very dated with lines such as "It's smart to keep looking smart" and "always keep a fine outward appearance"; I actually found it to be quite informative.
I really want to see a copy of the booklet Very Personally Yours that accompanied it now.

Bread Bread Bready Bread
Those that know me, know that I am a bread fiend. I literally have bread for brekkie, lunch and dinner. I just loves me some bread. Don't get me started on how cray cray I got when I found out that you could get whole loaves at just 20p if you go supermarkets after certain times.
In the past I've tried to limit my bread intake, I even gone as far as to attempt a bread detox; I lasted 2 months and was hella proud. But of course old habits die hard and I was straight back to my old ways days after breaking my bread fast.
So as a lover of bread you can only imagine my glee when I spotted this over at Handbag.com.

| Protein Bread |
It's called Protein Bread and has seven times more protein than normal bread.
However at £4.49 a loaf I might have to sit this one out.
If the price tag doesn't frighten you, Protein Bread is available now at Muscle Food

50 vertical crunches
35 tricep dips
20 sit ups
30 second plank
10 push ups
110 Russian twists

Yay me!

CJ
I need this in my life right now! I officially for the first time in my 23 years on Earth have the Flu or influenza (as its officially known)! I know shock horror me, miss all-time queen of health has the Flu....stop the presses!
Anyhoo on my horrendous journey through the terror that is the Flu, I found out an interesting factoid. Cranberry juice can help in the prevention of Flu...
According to a Daily Mail article:
Cranberries contain a molecule called non-dialyzable material, or NDM, which coats some bodily surfaces with a Teflon-like substance and prevents infection-causing agents from taking root.Believe I've already been down the shop and copped myself a carton of the good stuff. I'm gonna be chuggin 2 glasses a day, so I will never have to go through this torture again.
