Just heard that the Big Brother Live Eviction on Friday has been cancelled; due to Caoimhe walking and Keeley's bad leg.

Instead Davina will now interview Caoimhe. Which would have happened anyway cos we all know that Caoimhe would have gone on Friday.

I say Caoimhe what was the bloody point of walking??? You were gonna go anyway, way to waste everyone's time!

News Just In...

There may still be hope for Flashforward!!!

According to DigitalSpy US Network Starz is reportedly in talks to *fingers crossed behind my back that this is true* 'revive' Flashforward.

I really hope this is true and not just hear-say, because we fans have worked so hard to get this show back on our screens. Flashforward was a great show and it didn't deserve to get axed, worse of shows survive for like 4 seasons and more and this show with an 'obvious' big following gets axed after just one season... sorry something ain't right there...

With all the fan protests, petitions, letters to Networks, Producers, etc... It just goes to show that Flashforward meant something to a lot of people, I mean it was voted the 'most missed' show in a recent poll.

I believe that Networks need to start listening to the fans and stop cancelling shows just because they don't meet certain ratings... they have to realise if your going to put a big budget show on at the same time as another big show, there are going to be conflicts.

Just Saw This...

And I had to laugh.

Wow Diddy, what were you thinking? This man never ceases to amaze me.

This pic was taken from a shoot for GQ Magazine August 2010 issue.

Attention All Gleeks...

Ever dreamed of singing with the New Directions...well here is your chance. No I'm not talking about starring in the show itself, so you can jump down from the ceiling.

Komani are releasing the new game Karaoke Revolution Glee on the Wii later this year; so you can get that chance (well kind of).

News Just In...

Caoimhe has walked out of the Big Brother house. What a muppet, like you couldn't wait the 3 days til Friday. We all know the only reason why she walked is cos she couldn't handle the boos she would get on Friday.

I saw this on Digital Spy and I couldn't help cracking up. Mohammed George (if you don't know who that is it's the guy who played Gus the street sweeper on Eastenders), just won libel damages over a tabloid report, that he was removed from the shows 25th Anniversary party.

So what has Gus been in since his stint in Eastenders??? I had a lil looky poo on IMDB and came up with zilch. I guess that's what happens when you slag off a BBC show. I'm just saying...

Beavis and Butthead are coming back... I repeat Beavis and Butt-Head are coming back.

Sources at MTV have confirmed that the 90's duo will return to our screens.

Though the new series will meet Beavis and Butt-Head for the first time in 13 years, they will still be in high-school, but it will be updated for the 21st century.

Sucker Punch

Sucker Punch by Roy Williams - at the Royal Court Theatre

Starring:
Daniel Kaluuya as Leon
Gary Beadle as Ray
Jason Maza as Tommy
Sarah Ridgeway as Becky
Trevor Laird as Squid
Nigel Lindsey as Charlie
Anthony Welsh as Troy

If there is one play you watch at the theatre this month, this is the play you need to watch. One word...Amazing. Kudos to Miriam Buether the designer, because the stage was amazing; I actually felt as if I was attending a real boxing match.

Set in the 1980's, Sucker Punch explores the lives of main character Leon and his best mate Troy. It follows them from school yard friends to opposing boxers. The play not only explores boxing and friendship, but issues with race surface. Such as the racist comments from Charlie and Tommy, the interracial relationship between Leon and Becky, and the belief that Leon has sold out and in turn has become an Uncle Tom.

The blend of high action music and lighting affect had both mine and I'm certain the rest of the audiences hearts beating along with the drama that was unfolding before us. I was totally encapsulated.

The choreography was superb, especially in the final fight scene.

I liked that Kaluuya narrated the boxing matches;  allowing us to envision them for ourselves.

My overall verdict:

4 Stars baby

xxooxx

On A Serious Note

Last night I experienced the most scariest thing ever. On my train journey home from an event with two members of the motley crew, I witnessed a man have a fit/seizure right in front of my face. Now I know what a fit looks like because I've seen it happen on the television but that is nothing compared to seeing someone having one right there in the flesh. It was one of the most scariest experiences of my life. I seriously thought that he was going to die.

One of the most disturbing things was that when he crashed to the floor, no-one in the carriage knew what to do. Because nobody knew first aid! It was the courageous actions of a few, that settled the man and called the ambulance that probably saved his life. I believe that everyone should  learn first aid and that it should be a made compulsory for children to learn whilst at school. I think that it is an extremely important life skill to know because it effectively helps in the process of saving someones life. I know that if it was just me and nobody else on that carriage last night that man may not have survived because I have no knowledge of first aid.

Since witnessing what I did, I have made the initiative to enroll on a British Red Flag first aid course. I will also be getting in touch with my local council to make first aid courses available to all, in the area that I live in.
