Ray J - I Hit It First

When I first heard about this I was like no way, he would never go there that's just low.

Well  I guess he did.


Seriously Ray how fame hungry are you, that you need to trash talk a woman that's moved on from you?

Yeah, yeah I know Kimmy is famous for that sex tape, but wait wasn't that like 100 years ago, she's clearly moved on, so why? Why?

I'm not a Kim K fan, she does nothing for me, but if this was any other woman I would say the same thing.

Dude seriously has no career or anything better to do with his life, that he needs to put out a song hanging off the fame of a very very ex girlfriend.

He aint helping himself in the credible arena. Gone are the days when that one could bring out a hit like One Wish (oh how I loathe that song, but that's another story).

Nah, no matter who it is, this song is just plain mean.

I know that people are all like I can't wait till Kanye makes a response track; but I hope he doesn't. Remain the bigger people; don't give this rat, this minute non-existent piece of no hoping fame whoring dust the time of day.

Disclaimer: this is no mind means I'm a fan of the aforementioned Kimye. Like I said Kim Kardashian does nothing for me, she has no effect on my life etc, etc. And everyone knows how I feel about Kanye at the moment.

Trance Mini-Review

What can I say about Trance?

Ooh ooh, I got one. It put me in a trance.

Haha did you see what I did there? I made a play on the title... cos you know the film is called Trance and it involves people going into trances and... okay I guess you get what I'm saying.

Anywhoo, as a big fan of Thrillers, as you may know some of my faves are Memento and Shutter Island (totally underrated film amazing twists and Easter eggs); I was  really excited to go and see this one.

I mean there were so many moments of brilliance, it started off with so much potential. But then somewhere around the middle I got completely lost. That whole hyper reality thing became very baffling. I can recall so many times where my cinema mate would lean over to me with all their theories and all I could reply was "Dude, I have no idea what's going on, I'm so confused."

I really liked the reveal though. I mean yeah though it was partly predictable, there were so  many 'oh yeah, I remember when that happened and was like hmm that's a bit odd' moments (tryna not do any spoilers here people). However I wasn't really happy with the end though (I'm talking the end end, the bit that happens right before the credits rolled). I found it very weak and it kinda watered the movie down for me, just felt it was very unnecessary.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it was a bad film. I quite liked it, but it wasn't amazing.

Beyonce Pepsi Ad

I think this ad has just made me fall a little bit back in love with Beyoncé.  Just a little though, still can't forgive her for Bow Down and covering Back to Black.

Nicki Minaj - High School

My love/ hate (well not really hate) of Nicki Minaj is a roller-coaster.

One minute I like her and give her the most ratings, but then she goes and does something that makes me rate her less. And this video is definitely one of  those latter moments.

The video is basically a 4 minute long beauty/body shot of Nicki Miniaj strutting around in her usual figure hugging attire; with snippets of her an Lil' Wayne canoodling (which is quite awkward to watch) and some weak story about some mob boss or something added in to give it some sense of love story. Not a fan.
