Under The Spotlight

I've got a new name for my junior Rihanna, from this day on she will be known as Miss R Foxy, cos 'Dayymn' that girl can dress. Check out the pic below, to see Miss R Foxy take a walk on the wild side in Dublin, in a Dolce & Gabanna Two Toned Leopard Print Dress.

I am loving the way she just makes these two different shades of print melt together, without it looking a hott trailer trash mess. Teaming it off with the shades and black pumps, gives it that ulimate edge. 4 Stars baby!!

Final Thoughts: "I'd love to go on a shopping trip with her."

In Tech News...

The BBC has revealed that BBC iPlayer is undergoing a few changes...
*taking a moment to collect this in my thoughts*...........
*Okay breathe*
Finally!!!!!! Those that know me, know that I have a love hate relationship when it comes to BBC iPlayer, there have been times when I could have caused some serious damage to my head after the numerous hair pulling occasions; where I've been watching a programme only to have an annoying dotted circle circulate the screen.

ShinyShiny have outlined the changes on their site. These are:

  • Friends- iPlayer has taken a leaf out of the books of many and introduced a way for users to 'share'. You will now be able to Recommend programmes to friends.
  • Integration with Windows Live Player- I think this is one of the best features. Users will be able to log-on with Windows Live and see which of their friends are using iPlayer, what they are watching, and  talk to them about it. You will also be able to sink your player with theirs and watch exactly what they are watching.
  • Link Partnerships- I am also feeling this. A nice bit of unity. You will also be able to find content from other platforms. Such as ITV Player, 4OD and Five Demand. I hope this stretches to the Wii also, would be nice to see some catchup TV on the ol' tellybox.
But most importantly, there will be improvements to the playing quality and downloads. I am officially a happy bunny.

Check out this video which shows you a little bit more about the new features:

I love some of the games on Facebook, as a 'gamer' I am totally obsessed. I don't even go on Facebook to socialise anymore...I just go on for the games. Whenever I see an advert on the side, showcasing a new game I get ever so excited...

                Diva Life                                        Farmville

Some of them enable you to take on roles you might not do in real life, such as becoming a farmer or a upcoming star. They are sort of like virtual worlds.

At the moment I'm playing a game called Star Fever which allows me  to be a Talent Agent. It is so cool. I get to hire stars, send them to auditions and plan their days. I have to finish certain 'milestones' such as 'Buy Star a Car' to progress and turn my star from a nobody into a somebody.

New Video Alert: Rihanna Ft. Slash Rockstar 101

Aww Miss Fenty has grown some more and this time she's a real rock chick!!!

As I sit here watching the video of a girl; no woman who is only 2 days younger than me, the familiar green eyed monster jumps out form behind my couch and I scream 'Why'. This video is HOTT! It just oozes sexuality. I'm proper feeling the black lipstick, I wish I could get away with that, the furthest I've been is pink and red and I thought they were statement colours. Must make a note *go and purchase some black lippy*.

No matter what people say about her, she continues to bring out awe inspiring videos. No longer is she the cute girl frolicking on the beach. No! We have witnessed the rise of a true Diva. Come Forth Miss RR Fenty "We salute you!"

Rant Of The Day

Okay. This cancellations malarkey is starting to get me really mad, just heard that another one of my fav shows Ghost Whisperer got cancelled.... arggh!!!

In Music News...

Check out a snippet of the video for my fav track off Ready...

Thisc is a tuuuuuune! Loves it!!!

In Movie News...

After months of speculating, whispers and hush hushes. It has been confirmed that Megan Fox will not be appearing in the third instalment of Transformers *phew sigh of relief*.  All I can say is that I am a happy bunny, as a fan of Transformers, both original and film; I found The Fox flexing her sexuality all through both movies quite off-putting. Yes, I will not hide it, I am not a fan!
Apparently, her publicist is saying that it was her decision to quit. Yeah, yeah yeah!!! I say it's cos she got too cocky. All this sex symbol BS got to her head, she thought she was bigger than she was, started slagging off the director and ...SNM. Come on, we all know what really happened...

In Movie News...

OK so Narnia's jumped onto the 3-D bandwagon now.
Gosh you can't turn around these days without seeing a 3-D movie. What happened to 3-D being something you could get excited about. Now it's the norm. My rant is why should I have to pay extra monies to watch these films in 3-D if everyone and their mum is churning them out?

In Telly News...

It's the time that Heroes fans around the world were dreading. The news that Heroes would not be returning for a fifth season. It has been confirmed by NBC.
I am actually in shock, I mean we all knew that it was coming, but we weren't expecting it so soon. It's one of the shows that get low ratings, have sh!t storylines, but you never actually think that it will really get the chop.

Bye bye Heroes... it was a nice journey *runs off to cry*

New Video Alert: Alicia Keys Unthinkable

I totally loves it! What I really like about this video is that it tackles the issue of interracial relationships. It's like a modern day West Side Story/ Romeo and Juliet. It is also nice to see an appearance from Chad Michael Murry as the leading man.

Flashback! Flashback!

This is one of my all time favourite videos...
Fatboy Slim- Weapon Of Choice
I always used to wonder how Christopher Walken could fly like that...

Loves it!!! This has me wanting to find an empty office building and dance around it.

In Tech News...

So it's not just Cam N' Clegg forming mergers...Just heard through the grapevine that two of the UK's biggest mobile phone network providers T-Mobile and Orange are merging to create 'Everything Everywhere'; launching July 1st. The two brands will still operate under their own names, but will be run under the 'EE' corporation.

I am really loving these Aji Ichiban Dried Mangos... ummm ummm ummm delicioso!!

On The Tellybox

Who watched Junior Apprentice last night? I don't think I laughed so much in my life (Well maybe I have).
They were so cute? Like little adults dressed up in their little suits.

I can't believe that some of them were only 16 and 17, they had such 'big men' mentalities using words that I haven't even heard of. It only brought it back to reality that these were just kids, when at one stage Hibah Ansary (who's ambition is to run a cosmetic surgery business) started to cry over Zoe Plummer hogging a sale of a huge block of cheese.

So week one's task was to sell £500 worth of cheese, with the teens causing havoc in Convent Garden Market and Whitecross Market; ending with the girls coming out on top.

My highlight of the show was watching the girls choosing a team leader for 'Revolution', no one wanted to volunteer themselves, the camera just panned around a room of blank faces *lmao*. They've probably been watching a lot of apprentice, and didn't want to risk the possibility of going home.

I  loved Zoe's "No one wants to do business with ugly people" attitude... preach girlfriend, she's bringing a bit of edgy to an almost black and grey industry.

The unlucky one losing out to £25k prize, was Jordan De Courcy, leader of 'Instinct'. Who had previously boasted that he was the only one with real business acumen.

Baby Weight Shedders

I recently came across a picture of Christina Milian and was shocked to see that she had shed her baby weight so fast (either that or she was wearing some extra strong Spanx or doing some hard core sucking in).

She looks amazing.

It got me thinking. How is it that these women are able to drop masses of weight in short spaces of time, yet everytime I walk down the street I am cornered by women, that have been rocking their baby weight for years. What are these baby weight shedders doing right?

New Name Alert

Hey guys and gals...it's finally here after a long time of thought, I have finally come to a name for the blog....if you didn't already now it's Amber Haze.... Enjoy!!

Election 2010

Suddenly politics becomes that little bit more interesting...
I'm not going to say who I voted for, because I am not here to influence anyone's political view; everyone has the right to hold their own opinions, otherwise what would be the point of having a democracy?

Britain officially has a hung parliament! The first time since 1974.

So what is a hung parliament? A hung parliament happens when no one political party has an outright majority. In the case of the UK, to have an overall majority within parliament is to gain 326 seats. However, within this years general election the results are as stands; The Conservatives hold 306 seats, Labour 258, Liberal Democrats 57 and the 'other' parties 28.

At the moment, there are talks between the Lib Dems and the Conservatives and Labour, to form coalition parties. So far according to polls such as the Guardian's Poll people would prefer a LibLabour government.
Who do you think the Lib Dems should team up with?
