Heroes fans across the globe rejoice, we've got it back!!!!! Baaaby!! Baby!!

Yes you heard right and no I did not stutter. NBC have announced that Heroes is coming back to our screens in 2015!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

When I reported in April last year that a revival was on the books, I was very apprehensive; you know when you hear rumours you get excited but not too much because people have a tendency to stomp on your heart. So to find out that this is in fact a reality, oh I couldn't be happier!

The excitement that I'm experiencing right now is so immense!

*silent scream*

Aaron Paul Breaking Bad Audition Tape

I love it when I come across great actors audition tapes; as an actor myself it reassures me that I'm on the right path and that even people who are established actors have to audition too.

As I'm one of those people that are always late to the party, be not surprised that I have only just got into Breaking Bad.

But wait before you gasp with disbelief, I just want to let you know that I'm now onto Season Three (thank you very much) so I am getting there. And yes I am hooked! My fave character by far has to be Jesse, he's just so amazing. And disclaimer to those that know me I do not like him in that way, yes he has blonde hair but No! I just think he is an amazing character and is portrayed by an amazing actor.

So of course I was excited when I saw Aaron Paul's audition for Jesse online.

Time for my favourite word. Amazing just amazing, even though he fudged up you could just tell he was right for the part. Oh and I loved that he fudged up because it just goes to show that actors do fudge up on auditions and still get parts, and to think that Aaron Paul fudged up and still went on to play an such an amazing character who will go down in cult history is fricking amazing!

Guess who's back

The Beeb have gone and released pictures for the upcoming return of Ronnie Mitchell.

 

I think this will end my 3 year streak of not watching Eastenders, looks like it's gonna be really juicy and the look on Kat's face when she's see Ronnie is just enough to pull me back in.

Skins Trailer

This doesn't excite me.

Maybe it's because I grew out of Skins, or because the eps don't feature any of my fave characters.

Didn't really care for Cassie and Effie annoyed me. I did like Cook though, but finding out he is a drug dealer in this new series really makes me *yaaaaaawn*. Wow so original!

And no I'm not a follow fash; I've known about this show since Shonda Rhimes creator of Scandal, Gray's Anatomy and Private Practice announced it, so there *sticks out tongue*

Just woke up to some of the worst news ever.

As a massive Hollyoaks fan, I was saddened to hear that the actor that plays Brendan Brady (Emmett J. Scanlan) had announced he was leaving after 2 1/2 years on the show.

You were like my favourite character ever, I loved you so much, you and your tashe, the show just won't be the same without you! Please don't go! Stay! Please! If you change your mind, I'll do anything, I'll watch the show everyday at 6:30 and then change over to E4 at 7pm to watch the first look and I'll watch the Omnibus every weekend and even on 4OD. Just please say that you'll stay! *goes off to cry some more*

Okay, now that I've got that out of my system, I believe that losing Brendan is a huge loss for Hollyoaks. Though he was a bad boy, he was a favourite and in my eyes could do no wrong. With storylines that included his abusive relationship with Ste, his battles with Warren and his struggles to keep the respect and love of his sister Cheryl; Brendan became a popular character with viewers and will be surely missed. However, just like a good TV show announcing it's final season; in a way I guess it's a good thing he leaves now, so he leaves on a high and doesn't get put in long, boring drawn out storylines. So here's hoping his exit storyline will be an amazing one.

I remember when I got the chance to visit the set one time, I managed to get a glimpse of the man himself and I can tell you that was the highlight of my day, ask all my mates, they'll tell you I wouldn't shut up about it.

So here's a toast *raises an invisible glass*. To Emmett, thank you for gracing my screen as my favourite bad boy Brendan Brady, I wish you all the success in your future endeavours. Chin chin.

Someone's Turning 30...

Children's ITV turned 30 on the 3rd Jan and to celebrate CITV are in the midst of a Nostalgia Weekender.

Today we were treated to:

I was most excited about Finders Keepers, Raggy Dolls and Children's Ward, but most of all Fun House. When the theme tune for Fun House came on I nearly wet myself, I looooooooooved that show.

I've always said that my dream birthday would be to run about the sets of Finder's Keepers and Fun House. I always wanted to go on those shows when I was younger and having the chance to be able to live out one of my childhood dreams would be... well a dream come true. I guess we can all dream.

In Telly News...

It's the time that Heroes fans around the world were dreading. The news that Heroes would not be returning for a fifth season. It has been confirmed by NBC.

I am actually in shock, I mean we all knew that it was coming, but we weren't expecting it so soon. It's one of the shows that get low ratings, have sh!t storylines, but you never actually think that it will really get the chop.

Bye bye Heroes... it was a nice journey *runs off to cry*

On The Tellybox

Who watched Junior Apprentice last night? I don't think I laughed so much in my life (Well maybe I have).

They were so cute? Like little adults dressed up in their little suits.

I can't believe that some of them were only 16 and 17, they had such 'big men' mentalities using words that I haven't even heard of. It only brought it back to reality that these were just kids, when at one stage Hibah Ansary (who's ambition is to run a cosmetic surgery business) started to cry over Zoe Plummer hogging a sale of a huge block of cheese.

So week one's task was to sell £500 worth of cheese, with the teens causing havoc in Convent Garden Market and Whitecross Market; ending with the girls coming out on top.

My highlight of the show was watching the girls choosing a team leader for 'Revolution', no one wanted to volunteer themselves, the camera just panned around a room of blank faces *lmao*. They've probably been watching a lot of apprentice, and didn't want to risk the possibility of going home.

I  loved Zoe's "No one wants to do business with ugly people" attitude... preach girlfriend, she's bringing a bit of edgy to an almost black and grey industry.

The unlucky one losing out to £25k prize, was Jordan De Courcy, leader of 'Instinct'. Who had previously boasted that he was the only one with real business acumen.

And In Telly News...

According to rumours the BBC have axed Survivors after only two series...say whaaaat!!!!

If this is true, I am livid! I for a fact believed that it was a good show. Yeah it had its flaws and cheesy story lines but it was one show on BBC One that I would actually take my time to sit down and watch.

What is up with this axing TV shows because ratings fall hype??? What about the loyal few that take time out of their lives to watch the shows. It's really tiring. You get drawn into the shows, you spend time getting to know the characters and enjoying the story lines. You say goodbye to it at the end of the series, highly anticipating its return. Only to be then told that it's gone and never to return.
